Preservation, Protection, and Promotion of Natural Resources
Hello friends,
Good Morning. How are you all?
I am
writing this letter to all my friends. I
am getting a stream of routine Good morning, Good evening, messages, number of
Video calls too. I have tried my level best to respond to you all. But many of
them were left unanswered too. I respect you all. I love you all. As a senior citizen of 71 years young Indian, I wish you all.
I
love to read all your messages. I love
to listen to all your audio calls. I
love to listen to all your video calls too. But where is time? Give me more
time, more than twenty-four hours a day.
Literally
almost daily I work around ten hours a day for reading, writing, and recording for
my YouTube programmes, writing for my blog, doing research particularly on trees
at the universal level, thanks to my wife she is a kind-hearted woman allowing me
to do all this job at free of cost.
So for I
have published around 150 YouTube videos and 900 articles in my Blog. But
mostly they are in Tamil, very few of them are in English also. Today many of our friends are requesting me
to write more in English also. But I am an average layman in both languages. Kindly bear with me.
I have
studied Agriculture at the graduate level as a regular study for 4 years, in a very
famous and a very popular and renowned agricultural institution at Global
level, the Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India.
For me
that was a Himalayan opportunity and a sophisticated education I had, I need
to thank and remember my parents for their sacrifice who supported me at that
time. That was a luxury education for me at that time considering my family.
Thanks to
my loving mother and my good old wise man and the primary school Head Master,
my father, and my first mentor. I was a
very average student and passed out with greater difficulty in the year 1972.
But I was a celebrity among my kith and kin in our village and places where I lived.
Then I
served as an Agricultural Officer for six years in the remote villages of
Tamilnadu in India. I was interested more in giving training among the
farmers, using the various early communication devices. I have become an
expert in handling those tools and conducted slide shows and 16 mm films to
educate the farmers in villages. The
contents were about modern Agriculture, i.e., on the use of
new High Yielding Crop varieties and
on the application of Chemical Fertilizers
Pesticides Fungicides etc. At that time I was working in a Farmers Training
Centre. I don’t want to go deep into that now. So I stop here.
Now I am
also creating High Dense Mini Forests in and around my working and living area,
thanks to Akira Miyawaki my Big brother from Japan. I am adopting Miyawaki High
Density Planting method, and Indianized some of them to suit my place. Now I
have around 5000 baby trees in the Mini Forests.
People are coming from different places to have a look at it. Children from schools and students from schools and colleges are also visiting me and my forest. I have more than one Hundred tree species and around two thousand and odd trees are living with me in my own small garden.
I have
informed you all about my vision and mission, i.e., work for Nature especially
on Preservation, Protection, and Promotion of Natural Resources. Without saying
care for Environment, Climate Proofing will also be a part and parcel of it.
Many of
our friends informed me, that they wanted to come to India to work with me.
Thank you so much for your love and affection. It is not needed to reach me.
You can do it in your place itself where it is very much needed. I request you
all to give a hand to nature at your Homeplace to make it Green or to protect
or promote the Green.
I thought
I can meet you through my mini letters, whenever possible. These letters may
carry some messages on Nature, Agriculture and topical too. In response to that
letter, you can convey your ideas, responses, reactions, suggestions, etc.
