My Dear Vivasaya Panchangam Friends! Good Morning!
Do you know the Peacock Flower tree is also called a Pentecost tree? The Pentecost sect of Christianity believes the Peacock flowers get their brilliantly red color from the blood of Jesus Christ. When Christ was fastened with the Cross by means of sharp strong iron nails, during that time the blood sprinkled on, some of the Peacock Flower trees, from that time onwards these flowers got this bright red color, so the Pentecost people used to call this tree as Pentecost tree. There is much useful information relevant to the planting of this tree in the Home Garden as well as in other public places.
