SOMETIMES THE FLOWER IS YELLOW SOMETIMES IT IS PINKISH TIPS WITH WHITE BASE. WHY TWO FLOWER COLORS? IS THURINJI AND ARAPPU SAME? SOME PEOPLE ARE EATING IT! CAN IT BE EATEN? SOMETIMES THE GROUND LEAF IS DARK GREEN SOMETIMES IT IS VERY LIGHT GREEN WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
WHOEVER USES ARAPPU AVOID SEEMAI KARUVELAN THEY ARE SELLING THIS AS ARAPPU DO NOT USE IT.

Albizia amara is also called as Arappu Tree in Tamilnadu, both are the same. Arappu powder is actually a natural conditioner made from its leaves. In our area even today the village women are using this leaf powder in the name of Arappu Powder. I don't think we can use Seemai Karuvai in place of Arappu tree leaves.
This is authentic information, Albizia amara leaves can be made into powder and it can be used as Hair Wash.
The flowers will be in white as well as yellow. Thurinji and Arappu are same. I have not heard of eating the flower. Normally the matured leaves will be dark green and the young leaves will be in light green colour.

2. i saw a product selling arappu for eating it's not flower it's either the leaves or something else...

1. so is the flowers pure white and very tiny when newly blossomed then turns yellow when it is old? so we find white flower and yellow flower on the same tree?
2. where to get pure original arappu from that is sun dried, stone ground in original traditional stone not synthetic stone, from tender leaf from original tree?

or is this arappu like Karisalankanni in which the white flower is a separate plant and the yellow flower is a separate plant and there is a difference between the two plants?

i asked if the two flowers are two spearate trees are on the same tree because in some videos/pictures shown online i am only seeing only yellow on the tree or only white on the tree not both occuring on the same tree? unless it depends when they took the video or picture maybe at that moment it appears only one color will happen on the tree?
