TRIBAL VILLAGE -

Our Prime Minister's "Thooimai India Iyakkam" (Mission
Swachh Bharat), in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Mahthma Gandhi, launching
was done in Alanjanur villages
of TDF Javvadhu Hills Project, of Thiruvannamalai
District, on 07.10.2014 at 11.00 AM.
BHUMII Trust organized a small awareness meeting in the premises of
the Primary School Building of Alanjanur village. Around 60 members took part in
the meeting including the school children.
Sri.S.T.Sudharsan presided over the programme and addressed the school children and explained about the objectives of the Prime Minister's 'SWACH BHARAT' and the need for keeping the houses and
village neat and clean.
Sri.Gnana Suria Bahavan, Director, BHUMII Trust, introduced the launching of the
"Mission Swachh Bharat" and requested the people for their active
participation to keep every part of their village hygienically. One of the school teacher thanked the NABARD, villagers and BHUMII.The meeting was organised by Sri.Selvaraj, and the Tribal Youth Leader of Alanjanur the Community Organizer of BHUMII Trust.
The Sericulture farmers of the Nabard's Tribal Development Project from Alanjanur, the members of the women Self Help Groups , the school children and the village community took part in cleaning the primary school premises in Alanjanur. The selected images taken are displayed here.
